Nuts, brakes or metal washers are things we choose according to the application. Our wide range allows us to adapt to all constraints. These devices, when they are well chosen, save a significant amount of time during assembly and adjustment on the aircraft.

We implement different technologies using either lock wire or flange tabs. Our solutions allow for positive braking which ensures the assemblies are locked thus avoiding any loss of adjustment during the product’s lifetime.

Whether in stamped sheet metal or from lost-wax casting, or even machined, we can manufacture our braking solutions in a wide range of materials: aluminum, steel or stainless steel, titanium and even inconel. When well chosen, these materials avoid galvanic torques and thus protect the parts in contact from corrosion.

The choices regarding equipment are the result of a discussion and an understanding of the customer’s need, especially when mounting on the upper units. Will this equipment be dismantled during maintenance visits or will it only be locked during initial assembly? Does it require heat shrink protection? What is the space available to allow adjustment and braking once on aircraft? All these questions and as well as many others are asked when selecting the right technical solution for the application.
