Product Engineer M/W

Reporting to the Design Office Manager or Technical Director, you will work on mechanical product design projects.

Within the framework of defined projects, design new products or propose upgrades by integrating customer needs, aeronautical regulatory requirements and industrial aspects, costs, quality and deadlines.

• Participate from pre-definition to drawing, ensuring that the definition is justified,
• Dimension products (RDM), carry out design and drawing in CAD and draw up the definition file.
• Modify and manage changes to product files during the production phase.
• Provide technical support to internal and external contacts.
• Play a full part in our continuous improvement activities (standardization, value analysis, cost reduction, improvement of tools and working methods).
• Ensure the definition and improvement of best practices for drawing and archiving technical elements in the Intralink/PDMlink database.
• Coordination of product qualification
• Possibly manage a team.

Trained as a Mechanical Engineer or Generalist with a mechanical design orientation, you have significant experience in an industrial environment.

To succeed in this mission, you must :

• In-depth, operational knowledge of mechanical engineering,
• Good technical grounding in strength of materials, mechanics and CAD (ideally Creo).
• Proficiency in industrial drawing and standard CAD tools, as well as RDM calculation and sizing methods
• Fluency in technical English, oral & written (essential).
• Significant experience in the aeronautical field would be a plus.
• A critical, methodical and organized thinker, you have good analytical and synthesis skills.
• Rigorous, pragmatic and customer-oriented, you get to the bottom of projects and handle them with a constant concern for improving performance.

You have good interpersonal skills and enjoy working as part of a team. You have a genuine interest in working in an international environment.
