Product Engineer M/W
Reporting to the Design Office Manager, you will work on mechanical product design projects. You will be responsible for the following tasks:
Missions :
- Ensure, within the framework of defined projects, the design of new products or proposals for developments, integrating customer needs, aeronautical regulatory requirements, and industrial aspects, costs, quality, and deadlines,
- Carry out the stages from pre-definition to drafting, ensuring the justification of the definition’s dimensions (RDM),
- Monitor products until they are qualified, in conjunction with the testing team,
- Contribute to the modification and management of changes to product files in the series phase,
- Provide technical support to internal and external contacts,
- Participate in updating the Windchill PLM tool and contribute to defining, implementing, and improving best practices for its use,
- Play an active role in continuous improvement activities (standardization, value analysis, cost reduction, improvement of tools and working methods).
Profile:
With a degree in Mechanical Engineering or General Engineering focused on mechanical design, you have significant experience in an industrial environment.
To succeed in this role, you must:
- Have in-depth, operational knowledge of mechanics,
- Be proficient in mechanical design, including component assembly, industrial drawing methods, and CAD tools, ideally Creo/Windchill,
- Have good technical knowledge, particularly in metal material strength and dimensioning (RDM), in order to guarantee the performance of designs,
- Be proficient in technical English, both spoken and written (essential),
- Significant experience in the aeronautics field would be a plus.
You are critical, methodical, and organized, with strong analytical and synthesis skills.
You are rigorous, pragmatic, and customer-focused, getting to the bottom of issues and handling them with a constant focus on improving performance.
